Beachology är en badstuga med Kelly Sturges design med enorma verandor för att smutta på ditt söta te och se dina barn spela basket, tennis eller springa på greenen i Bellview parken. Den uppvärmda poolen ligger precis intill parken och den hisnande sandstranden vid den berömda smaragdkusten ligger bara några steg bort. Det finns en stor wrap veranda framför, en täckt balkong veranda på övervåningen, en stor skärmad i veranda på baksidan med en stor platt-tv och en täckt uteplats med en gasgrill. Det finns också en utomhusdusch för att tvätta av sanden efter en härlig dag på stranden. Det finns 2 sovrum, ett på övervåningen med en king size-säng, det andra ner med en drottning, båda med eget badrum. Ett sovrum med 2 enkelsängar och tillgång till badrum, och en separat 4-tvilling våningssäng. Det finns också en bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet och en bäddsoffa i läsrummet på övervåningen så att beachology kan sova 13. Vardagsrummet, sovrummen, tvåbäddsrum och en skärmad veranda har alla platt-TV och är vackert inredda för att vara bekväma men lyxiga. Köket är fulladdat med rostfria apparater. Det finns en stor matsal och en frukostbar för barnen. Wi-Fi, kabel, tvättmaskin i full storlek och torktumlare i tvättstuga och gas spis.

Carillon är ett privat, gated och säkerhetsvakt samhälle väster om Panama City Beach och strax öster om 30A. Publix och CVS ligger mittemot Carillon. Pier Park, filmer, galleria, Gulf World strax öster om Carillon, 30A shopping och sightseeing är strax västerut. Det finns inga vägar att korsa för att komma till stranden vid Carillon och själva stranden är bred och orolig. Det finns en pittoresk kustkyrka som håller söndagstjänster och de vackraste bröllop. Under högsäsongen finns det utomhusfilmer, musik och kul på greenen. Carillonklockorna spelar hela dagen från byns centrum och lägger en vacker melodi till din semester.

Baseball & Beach

We enjoyed our stay and the house is as described in the listing. The property manager helped us with a few minor issues on the outside porches where some cleaning was needed but it was addressed very quickly! Checkin was a nightmare at the gates to the community. This is no fault of the owner or property manager but just plan to wait an hour or more to get through the gates on a Saturday during the busy season. It was very unorganized and made for additional unexpected wait time for our kids after an already long drive so that wasn’t ideal. Make sure you bring a PRINTEd copy of the authorization form! The security people at checkin do not accept digital copies on your phone even though is 2022. :) Other than that- our stay was lovely for a week of watching our son play in a baseball tournament nearby and some beach time. You will love the privacy and quiet that Carillon offers even during the busiest time of the summer. We all loved listening to the bells!! So unique- nowhere else on the beach can you get that. The house is lovely and well-stocked. Proximity to the pool and beach was perfect. We would stay again but probably would avoid a Saturday checkin date during busy months or plan for an extra hour of wait time.

Wonderful home and best location!

We had a wonderful time and loved being right at pool and basketball courts! House was clean and provided plenty of dishes, cookware, bedding, kitchen appliances, towels, etc. Would stay again!

Great house, but needs some love.

The good part....Great house, decor, layout, etc. Excellent front porch for hanging out. Perfect location for us, across from the pool, the basketball court, the green. Honestly, we had the best vaca ever. Kids played pick up basketball at night, met some great people. The not so good part...which did not prevent us having a great week...but want to make others aware....especially if you are accustomed to an excellent rental. We have been renting for years at Carillon, and this was the least favorable house to date. Only because it needs some maintenance. The outside of the home needs pressure washing bad. The front porch, where we were a good bit, was very dirty, window frames and doors...just need to be cleaned. The furniture on porch was nice furniture but dirty and stained and a couple of the seat cushions so worn that you feel the metal frame beneath you. The back porch was not even usable. And honestly it was one of the reasons we booked this particular home. It would have been a great spot for all the kids to hang out and watch TV. However the TV did not work, the screen on the door was ripped off and hanging...and the porch was very dirty and the kids did not want to even use it. I did call Helen, the property Manager and reported it and was toldthey would get it repaired but no one ever came. The ice maker was frosting over to the point it was hard to open and close freezer. It did not stopthe ice maker from making ice so we were ok, however I reported it. The inside of the home was very clean except the white slipcovered sofa and chair in great room definately needs washing or replacing. Dirty and stained looking. Overall none of this prevented us from a great week but we were disappointed in the upkeep of the house. The yard space had old flower pots with dead plants strew about,etc. Just not well kept outside. I did let the owners know after I returned and they were appreciative of the info I provided so I trust that they will take care of these issues and I would consider renting this home again if so. It was a good stroll to the beach however, especially carrying a load. But we loved the location to the pool and BB courts.

Wonderful week at Beachology!

Loved loved loved Beachology! We have been going to Carillon for about 5 years, and while this house is a little farther from the beach than we normally stay, it’s one of my favorite properties. We rented a golf cart, so that did not affect us at all. It’s also an easy walk to and from the beach if needed. The house is very homey. There were plenty of bath towels in every bathroom which is a big plus for us. There was hand soap in every bathroom as well as the kitchen which is very considerate gesture. I loved that I was able to leave my leftover detergent and things of that nature as some were left for us. It’s a shame that these things often have to be tossed, and I really appreciated it. The front porch was amazing as well as the back porch!! People so often don’t realize it’s the little things that make a big difference. As a Mom, I noticed every one! The owners were amazing and easy to work with. It was a beautiful home, and I would most definitely stay there again!! It’s almost directly across the street from one of the pools. It is directly across from the basketball courts and playground. Can’t say enough good things about it!! Wonderful stay!!
