We didn't want to leave!

The views from this stay were beyond amazing. We spent so much time in the pool, looking over the valley area and Pacific, watching monkeys, birds, hummingbirds, and lizards in their natural habitat. The house was beautiful, clean and had everything you could need. The caretakers live on the grounds and were so kind and helpful only when needed, otherwise they were noninterfering. We went to Playa Conchal and thought it was the most beautiful beach ever, ate at Patagonia restaurant nearby and stopped several times at the local mercados. Also took a day trip down to Tamarindo to shop and watch a few surfers. Everyone was incredibly friendly and kind. We will definitely be returning!! Thank you for a magical stay in Potrero!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a lovely property with stunning ocean views, good access to beaches, restaurants, groceries, etc. The house is spacious, comfortable, and inviting. The pool is wonderful. An excellent place to relax and restore. And an excellent base for exploring Gunacaste.

Great View.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice place, but some quirks. The tub is useless since you’ll never have enough hot water or time to fill it. Most interior doors scrape the floor. Master bath is an odd crammed space. Refrigerator doesn’t make ice. There’s no way to play music in the house. There’s a couple that live out of the garage and maintain the residence. Very nice people, but you need to expect it. Several great beaches nearby. Many good restaurants also. Not many options for groceries, but you can get what you need. Tony from Krain was amazingly helpful. He recommended and helped us book several great activities.

5 days with a view

Stayed the week after Thanksgiving. Can’t say enough about the view. It’s better than the pictures. We had howler monkeys come up next to the pool in the tree a couple days. The house was clean and had all the things you may need for any length of stay. You will need a car. While you could walk down the hill into town the condition of the road is most suitable for driving. There are 4-5 places to eat in town just a few minutes from the driveway. The driveway is an adventure all to itself. The first couple times we questioned our sanity and the last 20 times we were pros! There are caretakers that stay on property. They stayed in a basement under garage area and we never saw or noticed them at all during our entire stay other than when he cleaned the pool in the early morning. They also opened the driveway gate to the house if they were outside as we were pulling in so super convenient when that happened. The pool was awesome. Kinda sorta a zero entry infinity pool. Awesome views day and night. Communication could not have been better. Tony led the way the first day to the house so we could easily locate. We met at his office and next to the office is a small grocery store that was convenient. Tony also had fabulous recommendation for food and scheduled an in house massage for the 2 of us. Again…. The view is better than the pictures!

Beautiful, Serene

Gorgeous home, high ceilings, beautiful kitchen, the pool is lovely, all the doors open, able to sign in to streaming services, air conditioned home, Danil and Magda are very sweet. Bring ice if you want some, the bath tub is enormous and the hot water will run out before getting it to jet levels. The scenery and stars are incredible!
