Lonely Goat Olives erbjuder en boutiquestuga med 2 sovrum på vår 100 tunnland olivgård i den pittoreska Hunter Valley. Privat, charmig och inbäddat i spektakulär utsikt.
Mysig framför eldstaden i ditt rum, eller sitta på det enorma 50m2 däck med utsikt över dalen och olivlunden. Det finns bekväma stolar och ett litet matbord i varje rum. Det finns inget lounge inomhus, men med den här utsikten kommer du att vilja spendera all din tid på att sitta på däck och koppla av och ta allt i det!
Ett sovrum har en 4-säng king size-säng, det andra rummet har en king size-slädsäng och en enkelsäng (stugan sover 5 totalt). Varje rum har sitt eget privata badrum med lyxig duschkabin i två personer!
Använd friluftsköket eller ugn med vedeldad pizza för att laga mat. Samla ägg från vårt chook house, plocka frukt från vår fruktträdgård, färska örter från trädgården eller fånga fisk från dammen!

Our family's recent retreat to Hunter Valley's picturesque olive farm was a delightful experience, seeking tranquility with our newborn. Great View: The landscape adorned with olive groves and rolling hills provided a breathtaking sight, especially during dawn, etching lasting memories. Clean and Maintained Property: The property's well-maintained, clean surroundings assured a safe and pleasant stay, a crucial factor with our little one. Abundant Exploration: The vast expanse allowed leisurely strolls amidst olive orchards, offering space for family exploration and reconnection with nature. Serene and Peaceful: The tranquil ambiance provided an oasis of serenity, a haven for relaxation and bonding with our newborn and the 9 year old son. Privacy Amidst Nature: The property ensured privacy, ideal for family moments amidst nature's beauty. Warmth and Hospitality: Hosts Keith and Eliza's warm welcome and genuine hospitality made us feel at home. John, the manager, also enhanced our stay. A Home Away From Home: Above all, the farm exuded a sense of home, where genuine care and warmth made us feel like part of the extended family. In conclusion, this olive farm in Hunter Valley offered the perfect family retreat, blending breathtaking views, inviting ambiance, and genuine hospitality. Fabulous stay

Thanks so much Keith and Elisabeth for a wonderful stay. Both so lovely and helpful, greeting us on arrival, showed us around the property and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The property manager was also really helpful and friendly. We took our two dogs and they loved it (the balcony is all fenced off, which is perfect for dogs). Beautiful sunrise in the morning, great fire pit outside and pizza oven. The eggs from the chickens were delicious. It’s nice and quiet yet close enough to town to still do activities. Would come back again. Definitely recommend. Thank you!

The story of Lonely Goat Olives began in 2001 when Keith & Elisabeth Hallett were travelling around the Hunter Valley re-stocking their wine collection. Little were they to know that they would stumble on a 100 acre paddock with a few cattle and covered in tree stumps left by logging.
It was love at first sight, the next Monday their offer was accepted and the journey began.
With no idea what to do with this bush block with magnificent views Keith & Elisabeth consulted with the bottle of 2000 Shiraz they had just bought to try and work out what to do next.
Gradually, soil improvement programs were put in place to breathe life into the cattle trodden paddocks. This was followed by the construction of 4 dams and a series of buildings.
Keith & Elisabeth had a strong desire to be very kind to the environment and to be as self-sufficient as possible.
In 2005 they were an early adopter of solar and wind technology to provide power for the entire farm. This was followed by rainwater harvesting involving a combination of tanks interconnected and allowing gravity fed water supply to all buildings. The whole property is 100% off grid.
The quest for self-sufficiency continues with Keith & Elisabeth becoming self-sufficient in at least one more product each year.
2018 saw the introduction of a planting of saffron, turmeric and a number of other plants, and an expansion of the chook house to give the chickens more room to roam around (supplying Keith, Elisabeth and all the guests who come and stay with fresh eggs), and the construction of a large greenhouse for the ever expanding olive tree nursery.
This story is a wonderful example of what can be achieved through hard work, vision and passion.
