Amazing stay

We had such a great time staying here. The hosts are wonderful and we loved hanging out with them. The house is beautifully converted to 6 private condos so you can have your privacy or be social. The location is perfect. We heard the waves even with the doors closed. We had the option to stay in the penthouse our last weekend—what a view!! We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you to our hosts!!

A Piece of Hidden Paradise.

This condo is part of a unique building, designed by the owner himself, hosting 6 different units. The condo is very nice & clean with everything we needed for our stay. It has an awesome porch area for relaxing with a wonderful view. The beach is awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed the variance of the high tide low tide. It was like having 2 beaches at once. The pride the owners have in their building and grounds oozes at every turn. They are very friendly & knowledgeable. If you need or want them, they are there. If not, you will not see them. We enjoyed visiting & learning from them. Thanks so much Sylvester & Barbara for your hospitality & friendship.

Private peaceful getaway

Casa Caracol is a beautiful haven away from hustle and bustle of the city. Located right on the beach, it's a wonderful place for beach walks and listening to the waves from your balcony. Full kitchen is convenient for whipping up local, fresh dishes. The owners are a couple of the nicest people I've ever met. You will be relaxed and refreshed after your stay here. Two thumbs up!!

Wonderful stay!

I had a only short stay of two nights but can report the apartment was very clean, everything in good shape, the location unbeatable, right on the beach that was underpopulated, which I love and I had wonderful talks with the owner who happened to be there at the same time I was. I would come back in a heartbeat! The only tiny thing I would want to mention is that a small set with absolute basics: salt, pepper, oil, vinegar might be a good thing to have, as noone who stays only two or three nighst wants to buy this. Beyond that, STELLAR.

Nice unit with a great location. Some minor issues.

We enjoyed our stay at Boca Corona. It is right off the beach. You can hear the waves and see the water from the bed. The views are wonderful. There are a couple of things that I want to point out, so others are not surprised. During high tide the beach looks great, but during low tide there is a good three hundred feet of rocks. Our initial thought was shock. But we got over it and enjoyed our stay regardless of that. Additionally, there are three units that share the terrace area. Everyone has there own table and chairs. And there is a canvas that can be used for separation and offers a bit of privacy. But if you are looking for complete privacy, this may not be your place. Regarding the unit, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom has a walk in shower, which I really prefer. There is only one AC in the unit, located in the bedroom. The living area tends to get a bit hot, but that did not bother us. There are a few things that really need attention. First the shower head is on its last leg and will need to be replaced sometime this year. We were only given two bath towels for an entire week long stay. The bath towels are like sandpaper. Please, please, please get something better and provide a couple per person for stays longer than two days. Storage is a major issue. The only storage area for cloths are two night stands with 3 draws. The closet has no shelving what-so-ever. For under $25, a top or floor shelve can be added rather easily. We were only provided two hangers. That remains a puzzle to me. Why not provide more hangers? Inexpensive hangers cost pennies. Also, there is an electrical outlet cover that is missing in the kitchen. That should be fixed to avoid any electrical injuries. Tea bags, sugar and 1 days worth of coffee was provided. I recommend some salt and pepper also be added to those supplies. Toilet paper and paper towels supplies were included. Overall, I recommend this unit, as long as you can overcome the low tide view of the ocean. The owners should really fix the minor issues in the unit. There is no excuse for sandpaper bath towels and limited storage area. And please provide your guest with more than 2 hangers. Thank you.
