Känn dig som hemma på öarna ... Välkommen till Pali Ke Kua 201, en fantastisk hörn enhet med fönster på tre sidor som visar Bali Hai utsikt, knölvalar (på vintern), lysande regnbågar, oändliga havsutsikt, fantastisk bergsutsikt och kaskadande vattenfall - hisnande landskap från alla rum. Detta är en perfekt gömställe för smekmånad och en idealisk plats att fira din årsdag eller något speciellt tillfälle.

Ditt hem-hemifrån har nyligen renoverats i mitten av 2011 och är lätt och luftigt med skyhöga katedraltak, ett kaklat ingång, infödda polynesiska artefakter och ett fullständigt bibliotek med Hawaii / Stilla havet.

Det stora sovrummet är på huvudnivån och har en ny, fast king size-säng och ett komplett badrum med ett bekvämt badkar. Det ljusa och luftiga loftet på övervåningen har två nya enkelsängar och ett extra badrum med dusch.

Den stora, lutade plattan med lutning med plattor har en schäslong samt ett matbord och stolar för att njuta av den magnifika utsikten. Du ser knölvalar på vintern såväl som albatross och nene året runt. Nene, ibland kallad nengäss, är Hawaiis statsfågel och kan vara ganska underhållande när de promenerar runt de vackra grunderna.

Det finns varje vecka bondemarknader i Hanalei Town och Kilauea så att du kan få några lokala smakrätter att förbereda i ditt fullt utrustade kök. För din bekvämlighet finns tvättmaskin och torktumlare på bottenvåningen.

Du är omgiven av frodiga tropiska palmer, tunnland gräsmatta och infödda blommor och träd med en pool och jacuzzi i närheten.

Det finns en privat, asfalterad väg till en avskild, vit sandstrand, Hideaways Beach, med säsongs snorkling i världsklass. Du är också bara några minuter från den världsberömda Hanalei-bukten där du kan njuta av en halvmåneformad Hanalei-strand, rankad som nr 1 U. S.-stranden 2009!

Spectacular views, very outdated and poorly functioning condo

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came for a family event. I have stayed at Pali Kekua many times before and this was the absolutely worst unit I have stayed in any place on Kauai. The view is spectacular but the condo it self is in desperate need for an update. Other then the view the photos are very misleading I had vacation rentals on Island myself and it is a privilege to offer it to visitors. With that also comes a responsibility of sharing Aloha and show respect to the guests. This condo did not do that at all. It reflects the overlay of greed that currently inhabits our beautiful Island. This unit could shine with very little upgrades and furniture that is intact.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit has a wonderful view. The unit as others have said is in need of a remodel. Unit is well equipped with kitchen, sand chairs, towels, etc. the patio door should be replaced. The screens get off track all the time and birds can make their way in. The screens scrape a lot and make a lot of noise for the folks downstairs.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The best thing about this condo is its location in Princeville with views of the mountains, the ocean, and the sunsets over Bali Hai. The PKK grounds are very pleasant with lovely trees, flowers, birds, and views plus the trail down to the beach. The condo layout and general amenities, including the library, are also great. From a sanitation aspect, the cleanliness was fine. But it seriously needs a deep cleaning (e.g., dusting/cleaning railings & art work; cleaning couch cushion covers & pillows) and better routine maintenance (e.g., doors & screens and bathroom fixtures). We've been coming to this condo for many years. We enjoyed our stay and will likely come back, but with the significant rate increase over last year, we'd hoped to see better care taken of the place.

Human kindness

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It took me a long time to write this, but need to now. We had a great time, and enjoyed our condo, even though it is quite dated and could use many upgrades. But we loved the location, and KVR staff was very helpful when we had a problem that needed fixing. It was handled promptly and staff was friendly. Our problem came when we checked out and went by your office to drop off keys. There was extensive road work between us in Princeville and you in Lihue, causing maybe 45 minutes delay. By the time we got to your office, we were both in dire need of a bathroom. We are both in our 70's and not in any way menacing. We asked if we could use the bathroom at your office, and were told no. She said we should go across the street to Walmart. When we got to Walmart the lot was packed - no place to park, no way to get to a bathroom. After leaving you with a couple thousand dollars of our money, it did not seem like an unreasonable request to ask to use a bathroom. We were the only people there, and as I say, posed no threat. It just seemed rude and uncaring. We have rented from you before, and been happy with our experiences. But this experience leaves me thinking we may have to look for something different. Simple human kindness should have been shown, and was not.

Bad experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was not cleaned up well. It has dust mites in the bed and lot of bugs in the house. I had called and them know and they gave me a bottle of bug spray after 4 days. I had multiple bud bites along with my family. I would stay away from this place.
