Much maintenance needed
Firstly, the online description says Air Conditioning, but WARNING this is one AC unit in only one room. The kitchen and eating areas, and crucially the bedrooms, have ceiling fans only. In July temperatures this is uncomfortable unless you are used to it.
Our main criticism was that there were many maintenance problems with the property, which can only mean we were the first to use the property in a long while. The day after we arrived, the hot water pump and one ceiling had to be replaced. One week in we came to use the washing machine, only to find that the door was completely broken and the water pipes were all blocked with limescale. The lovely spa bath in the photos also couldn’t be used because the taps and pipes also all blocked with limescale. Most of these issues were resolved after many calls via the agency, although the initial response to the water problems was that everyone was using water in the street at the same time. Only when we finally got a plumber did they discover the limescale problems.
BUT, the worst thing was that the dishwasher had an electric problem meaning you got an electric shock every time you open the door. The owner’s response was this was ‘normal’ and as long as you are wearing shoes and not standing in water on the floor (it’s a kitchen!) then this was safe! So we didn’t use it all fortnight, and there wasn’t even an isolation switch to make it safe!
