Mycket bekväm och avkopplande Fristående Bungalow med härlig utsikt

Pinecroft har renoverats snyggt i en eklektisk stil av modern och traditionell för att skapa en avkopplande miljö för alla att njuta av efter en dag promenader eller bara vistas i och läsa en bra bok. Mogna trädgårdar och gott om uteplats områden ger gott om utrymme för att tillbringa tid utanför. Alternativt sitter vid matbordet njuta av den vackra utsikten. En vanlig kommentar från många gäster är att Pinecroft känns som ett hem. Medan fastigheten ligger nära huvudvägen till Keswick är huvudbyggnaden borta från vägen och man kan vara på landsbygden. Utsikt från matsalen är underbar som du tittar över Keswick mot Grisedale Pike där solen sätter. Utanför uteplatsområdet uppdateras och en härlig ny vattenfunktion har byggts. Den övre uteplatsen kommer att läggas på hösten med beläggningsplattor medan det nedre uteplatsområdet kommer att däckas med vackra Cedarplankor. Det är redan trevligt och blir bara bättre. FÖRÄLDRAR OBSERVERA en andra och mycket större damm är nära att slutföra.

Fantastic Property

Despite the rain we had a fantastic time in this excellent property. Well equipped and maintained professionally. My wife has limited mobility and was able to move around the property using sticks and a walker with no issues. The large bathroom has a walk-in shower which she could easily use with a shower seat as she was able to walk right up with the walker. There is seating outside on the patio which is also accessible and a shallow slope from the drive to the property. The surrounding area is stunning and we didn’t need to travel too far to find places to visit. Keswick Pencil Museum, Theatre by the Lake, Derwent Water and the railway walk were very close and well worth a visit. The owner was easily contactable and flexible with our checking out time which was really helpful. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Cottage in Keswick, Lake District

On arrival we were greeted by the owner who gave us some helpful information about the cottage and surrounding area. We stayed here for 6 nights whilst on a hiking trip. The directions to the cottage were spot on and the cottage itself was clean with good facilities especially for walkers/cyclists as there was an outside area for bikes and muddy shoes, clothing. The cottage had a washer/dryer, wifi, sky, good basic equipment in the kitchen and the bedrooms were clean and very comfortable. The bathroom had a lovely shower and bath tub too. Keswick is just a 20 minute walk/5minute drive and the views surrounding the cottage were stunning. This was a great area central to everywhere we visited and there were good facilities in the town including supermarket, nice pubs/cafes and shops. We would definitely stay again.

Great location

Clean, quiet location in Keswick. Nicely furnished. Easy access to walking in the Lake District and a 20-25 minute walk from town center, which is a great option when the roads are choked with traffic.

A very cosy, relaxed and well equipped house. Everything you need for a pleasant basevfrom which to explore Keswick. The host was helpful . The house has lots of character and we particularly enjoyed the original art work.

Born in Keswick many years ago, returning home in the early nineties after serving in the British Army, I am now the owner of a local business offering mid to high end furnishings from paint to fitted kitchens. Great pride is taken as year on year I improve Pinecroft to ensure my guests are pleased with their choice. Try to keep it relaxed and meet guests on arrival if I can.

Varför värden valde detta boende

If relaxation is high on your list of priorities then Pinecroft is for you. Spacious living accomodation on one level plus lots of out door space and parking make Pinecroft a nice place to be whatever the weather. A 20 minute walk along the old railway line / footpath will take you into town or jump on a bus at the nearby bus stops, Penrith - Keswick and Keswick to Ambleside. No need to drive yet far enough away from the hussle of a busy town if you want to chill.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Pinecroft is deceptive as it is tucked away in its own gardens. It has been designed deliberately for relaxation with quality fittings throughout. The large walk in shower is lovely and refreshing and the steel bath allows for a long soak if you prefer. The bath even acts as a speaker for your music (ask owner). Original paintings on every wall to be admired. Outside there are different areas to sit and enjoy the sunshine. BBQ area is quite unique, designed and built by the owner in 2022.
