I booked this villa very last minute and due to the current covid19 situation was worried whether I was doing the right thing. I travelled with my husband and 3 teenage kids and as NHS workers ( and having taught covid) we have been working flat out and very overdue a rest.
I needn't have had any anxieties about the property at all. From booking the villa with Pippa, the owner at a very reasonable price to communicating with Karyn, the property manager in Kalkan everything was straightforward, helpful and professional with very quick responses to my multiple queries.
We arranged our own airport transfers(although Karyn did offer) we also hired a car locally from Kalkan for the rest of trip.
The villa is actually in a village called Kisla which is about a 10 minute walk from Kalkan. You can get free water taxis from beach over. It is very hilly so be prepared with comfy shoes if walking but taxis are cheap and plentiful.
The villa was spotless with everything you could think of for a comfortable stay plus more. Plenty of towels! Don't take any at all! My kids loved playing chess by the pool and the inflatables were fun. Pippa has thought of everything you could possibly need including sun hats, shopping bags and even an umbrella! There are books ,DVD'S,cards and board games. Each bedroom has a lovely terrace
The kids loved having a bedroom and bathroom each! The roof terrace is quite a climb but the views with it, recommend it for breakfast and evening drinks.
The egg swing chair was a firm favourite and the bread delivered by Irfan daily who cleans the pool was much cheaper than the shops, fresh and delicious. Thankyou to Karyn for the shopping delivered for our arrival.
I would definitely arrange a hire car if you are considering this villa as it gave us flexibility to pop to town and other areas of interest at our own convenience without relying on others. We managed trips to Olundeniz, Hisaronu for shopping (we compared prices and cheapest for shopping and you can park in front of the shops for free before 7, haggle though!) ,Fethiye Tuesday market Pamukkale, Patara beach (gorgeous at sunset ,soft sand and water is NOT deep quite a way in ). Saklikent gorge where we also did tubing. The kids also did parasailing and the inflatable sofa at Aristos watersports.
Minor issues- villa is overlooked by neighbouring villas so not as private as I hoped, other minor issues with hot water, toilet flushes breaking all resolved quickly, thx
