En imponerande liten gated community i Davenport. Med en enkel bilresa till Disney och ett stort utbud av lokala butiker och restauranger i den prestigefyllda Champions Gate Shopping Village, som ligger bara några minuter från villan. Detta är också platsen för Greg Norman designade 18-håls golfbana. Villan har en vacker bakre aspekt med utsikt över orange lundar som Florida är känd för. Poolområdet har också en stor undercover Lanai som ger skugga i dagens hetta. Inuti villan öppnas loungen precis ut mot poolen med stora glasskjutdörrar. Tillräckligt nära alla de stora temaparkerna för att komma dit tidigt, hoppa tillbaka till lunch och simma och återvänd sedan till parkerna för eftermiddag / kvällsunderhållning med din förbetalda post / parkering - en perfekt kombination!

Updating needed
We have stayed in this neighborhood several times within the past 13 years and were aware of the construction that was occuring/finished nearby. However, the impact to this particular house without updating the description on the site is most concerning. There no longer is any shrubs behind the pool and no privacy fence has been put up. This is the only house in the neighborhood that does not have a privacy fence up. The main road that was put in behind the house is now 25 feet away with out anything blocking the pool area. People would be running and walking by on the side walk and literally be looking into the pool area. The noise from passing vehicles/people and wind without a barrier also affected us being able to totally enjoy ourselves outside. This really needs to be addressed - we felt totally exposed. This is a gated community, but without any fencing from this yard, people can just cut through the yard and get into the neighborhood. I'm surprised that this hasn't been addressed. Like others have said, the mattresses need definite upgrading. We struggled with our check-in process; however a rep from VRBO was able to assist and help us get the information that we needed. Our pool heat wasn't turned on and because we checked-in over the weekend, this wasn't deemed an emergency so we had to wait two days to get ahold of the property management company to come turn the heat on. We were very impressed with the management company and pool man when we had issues

Amazing stay in a great villa!!
The whole group was me, my wife, our 2 year old, my mum and my best friend for 2 weeks. The Villa was amazing when we first walked in, really spacious and all needed ammenities easy to find. I saw complaints about the mattresses a few weeks before coming which made me wary but they were absolutely fine. By no means a 5 star hotel mattress but perectly comfortable and nowhere near as bad as people were making out. The building work taking place didnt both us as we were out majority of the days and when we were in were not disturbed by it. There were a few extra things that were not mentioned on the listing like inflatables for the pool and even found some childrens toys in one of the wardrobes, both of which were a pleasant surprise. Jim was great with the whole thing answering a variety of questions we had leading up to the holiday and was particularly great when there was an unexpected power cut as it was sorted within 20 minutes of letting him know. We qould definitely stay here again in the future and the only things we would say are a bit of a need for updating in some areas, quick lick of paint, mattress protectors etc etc. The only thing we said really needes sorting were the kitchen knives which were horribly blunt. Thank you Jim for a great stay look forward to staying again in the future.

Disney/Universal vacation
The four of us took a belated vacation to celebrate my daughter's high school graduation. It was delayed due to COVID and everyone getting new jobs. We had a blast! The house was big and spacious for a pool to soak in after a long day at the parks. The neighborhood was quiet while we were there and pretty close to the Disney parks. Everyone had a great vacation.

Nice vacation home
As previously mentioned, the mattresses in the house are hard, springy, and loud. There was loud and rumbly construction in the backyard all week. The construction equipment is close enough to hit with a pool noodle and shook the whole house from 7:30am - 5:30pm Monday through Friday. We didn't let that stop us from enjoying the pool. There is no hot tub, it is a smaller pool with jets but it is the same temperature as the pool. We had some confusion about the pool heat but the owner was very responsive and got it taken care of quickly. Overall we enjoyed our week in the house and it had most of the things we needed. A nice bonus was when my kids found some toys in the closet. We got stress-free deliveries from Publix and Walmart for the things we needed that weren't in the house. Would it have been nicer to have decent mattresses and no construction in the backyard? Absolutely. But the house was in a nice area and met our needs. I gave it 5 stars because I would vacation here again once the construction is complete and the mattresses are replaced.

Aufenthalt in Orlando
-unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön! Das Haus steht in einer ruhigen und schönen Siedlung die nur über einen Code zugänglich ist. Das Haus selber ist groß, schön und übersichtlich! Leider sind ein paar Schönheitsflecken vorhanden (Wasser schaden in der Küche und manchen Zimmern, die Klimaanlage ist neu gesetzt und leider die Löcher nicht zugespachtelt) Ebenso wurde der Pool leider schon mehrere Wochen nicht mehr gereinigt, weswegen er in der Mitte der Woche grün wurde und wir konnten 2 Tage nicht rein! Die Lage ist aber sehr sehr gut, man ist in wenigen Minuten in ziemlich jeder Sehenswürdigkeit. Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub

We decided to buy a villa in Orlando as it is such a vibrant and exciting place to holiday with the fabulous theme parks, the excellent value shopping, the wide variety of food and lets not forget the fantastic weather. We chose a great house, set in a very private location but close enough to the parks. With its sheer size and huge pool we think it's the perfect spot for an Orlando holiday whether on your own or sharing with friends and our management company are there to complement your stay should you require anything.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

With a great supermarket within 3 minutes drive, golf on your doorstep and the I4 running close by to access the attractions, it's in an ideal position. The Manor on West Haven is a small, private, gated community and all the properties are set in spacious grounds. Some other communities have become overcrowded but our villa was chosen for it's design and location above everything else. Having 4 separate bathrooms is a real bonus when holidaying with a large family or sharing with friends.
