The four of us had a really good holiday at the villa. The location is very peaceful, the views were fantastic and it was a real pleasure to sit on the balcony each evening, watching the sun go down.
Villa Meena was our home for two weeks, and although we ate out a lot in Kas, several evenings we cooked at home. We found the gas barbecue was very good, as was the kitchen equipment; we were able to prepare anything we wanted without difficulty.
The temperatures each day in September were mid to high 30s and we were glad of the air-con, which worked effectively throughout the villa. Each morning, we breakfasted on the balcony where we enjoyed the stunning views across the water from the peninsular to the mainland.
The bedrooms, ensuites and bathrooms were fine. The wi-fi worked problem-free, as did the TV, not that we made much use of this! In short, we would be happy to stay there again!
One word of caution. The villa would not be suitable for those unsteady on their feet or with health conditions that might render them unable to climb steps. The entrance is located up steps from the road, at approximately 10 metres. Similarly, the villa itself is some way below the level of the main peninsular road and the buses in to town. Again, the walk up the hill to the road would not be suitable for those with serious health problems. Taxis, however, are cheap and available from Kas by phone.
