Mitt hem i Yosemite West erbjuder en avskild respit 18 miles inne i södra ingången av Yosemite. Inbäddat i träden på 6000 'i höjd, och långt borta från den omgivande dalen samhällen, är Yosemite Hideout halvvägs mellan Yosemite Valley vattenfall och granitmonoliter, Giant Sequoias i Mariposa Grove och den hisnande utsikten från Glacier Point och Sentinel Dome. Yosemite Hideout är en idealisk plats att ställa in din base-camp !! (Detta är en helt ny placering och kalandern är vidöppen !!)

Yosemite Hideout är en tre sovrum, två halv badhus djupt inne i parken gränser. Yosemite Hideout är perfekt för familjer på semester! Det finns en stor två bil garage på vägen vid huvudbyggnaden nivå, vilket gör lossning din bil snabbt och enkelt, även på vintern !! Tre stora privata däck flyter högt i en tall träd kapellet på egenskapen med de två största i västerläge där du upplever den underbara solnedgångar. Njut av en grill, ett glas vin och gott mod på däck berätta din dagens äventyr och upptäcktsfärder i Yosemite.

Om du föredrar att laga en gourmetmåltid, har Yosemite Hideout en enorm fullt utrustat kök med stor apparat, rymliga bänkskivor, och all matlagning utrustningen och redskap du behöver, inklusive kastruller, stekpannor, Oxo bestick, kaffebryggare, brödrost, mixer, elvisp, tekanna, mikrovågsugn och massor av intressanta kokböcker! Du kommer att ha ditt val mellan informella äta på verandan under paraplyet, eller den justerbara fjäril bordet i matsalen.

Yosemite Hideout levnadsområden är på översta våningen bort från nedre sovrum. I vardagsrummet hittar du en platt-TV med Acoustat högtalare, ett omfattande DVD-samling, Yosemite Guideböcker, romaner och bekväma sittplatser. Satellit internet finns tillgängligt för att kontrollera din e-post och surfa. (Observera att satellit Internet är inte tillräckligt för att strömma video eller annan bandbredd intensiva aktiviteter).

Yosemite Hideout har varit mitt hem under de senaste nästan tre decennier. I år är det första året som jag har gjort den tillgänglig för gäster att njuta av. Mina goda vänner och grannar Melissa och Jeff är i närheten och snabbt på plats om du behöver hjälp med huset. Yosemite Hideout

Our favorite place to stay so far in Yosemite West, big garage to park in which is a plus in winter. Well-stocked kitchen with all the appliances and accessories you might need. Home was spotless and spacious, beds were comfortable and everything worked. Beautiful view on the deck with a very nice BBQ. Perfect for a weekend Yosemite getaway. Only request, more seating in the living room.

Disappointing operational issues

Checked in to a cold house. Heat not working. Fireplace which is in photos didn’t work. Instruction book not updated to reflect how to deal with it. Opened everything until we found standing heaters which we were able to use as no response in evening. They tried to fix but we weren’t able to have house heat the entire trip. Heaters were functional but not great with our small children as they do get hot. No accommodation or acknowledgement that this was an inconvenience by property management. House is in great location and has the basics.

Great location to Yosemite valley. Nice comfortable place.

Family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. Location is great, only 25 min drive to the valley, and you get the tunnel view on each trip. House was clean and comfortable. Used the garage to park my truck. Communication with the host was easy.

Disappointed

The area was beautiful and we were grateful to be inside park. Unfortunately the kitchen was disgusting and we planned to eat and cook in the kitchen. The refrigerator had spilled liquids and I had to clean it before putting our food inside. Every dish or pot/pan we wanted to use was dirty and needed to be washed. The oven was so disgusting I couldn't even use it. There was a leak under the kitchen sink and when we reported it they came and put one of the kitchen pots under the sink. The heater wouldn't work and we were told someone would be out to fix it and that never happened. There was no broom, but there was an ancient dust buster. I went to use it and it was full of broken glass which fell out all over the floor. There were smashed bugs on the ceiling with the shoe print of the shoe used to smash the bugs. I went to empty the bathroom trash and took the plastic bag out and there was a huge clump of hair, a toothbrush and toothpaste in the trashcan under the plastic bag. The laundry room was awful and dirty, and we didn't want to use the washer or dryer. The house is seriously outdated, with huge speakers that don't work. But that is not my problem. I don't care about the home being outdated. I do care about the home being clean, and having heat on cold nights. I texted and sent pictures to Erin, and she assured me things would be fixed. But we never had the heater fixed. They did bring out a broom. When I mentioned a refund for cleaning dep.I never heard back

Great fall visit to Yosemite

This property was quite comfortable even for two families . It was very clean and well stocked with the kitchen utensils that we needed , books and DVDs , except there was no body wash or shampoo. All the instructions provided by the host prior to arrival made our arrival here quite straightforward even though we arrived around 10:30pm. After each day of hiking and driving around, it felt quite good to come back here in the evening. We had a memorable visit to Yosemite after eight years and would book this property for our next visit. Thanks to the host and to Vrbo for listing this property !!

Iconic ski instructor Nic Fiore taught me to ski at Badger Pass when I was three years old. I could not get enough of the snow, the trees, the smell and the unparalleled beauty of Yosemite National Park. After high school I took a brief hiatus and worked for the Yosemite Park & Curry Co in a variety of jobs including ski patrol, ski instructor, life guard and pantry worker. I returned to college and still worked in Yosemite on weekends. The National Park Service hired me as a Park Ranger and I held every job imaginable for the next 20 years ~ horse patrol ranger, resources manager, foot patrol, fee collector, EMT and dispatcher. Law school was my next calling and while I have never lost my love for Yosemite, I do not get home as often I would like, so I decided to share my home with Park Visitors. I hope you will find as much fun, adventure and pure happiness here as I have over the years.

My parents starting bringing me to Yosemite National Park when I was three years old. I remember frequent family trips to Yosemite to ski, hike, ride horses, float on the river and ride bicycles. I feel like I grew up in Yosemite and once out of high school I began working for the Yosemite Park & Curry Co before going to college. After working several years for the National Park Service I had the wonderful opportunity to purchase an empty lot in Yosemite West, a place I knew I wanted to be for a very long time. My dream of building a home came true in 1988. As you know, Yosemite National Park is quite simply the most breathtaking place on earth. The waterfalls, the granite domes and monoliths, the Giant Sequoias, Sugar Pines, and Oak trees are most spectacular in Yosemite National Park. There are over 750 miles of established trail in the Park, giving you the opportunity to see extensive wildlife such as bear, mountain lions, deer, squirrels, raccoons, coyotes and marmots on a regular basis. If you are lucky enough to live in the mountains, you are lucky enough.
