Your first impression is to simply soak up the beauty of the property and surrounding landscape. Then you will meet the owners Alanna and Bob. They could not be more welcoming or pleasant. We had a great time on the ranch drinking wine on the bridge in the evenings. The bridge is set up with tables, chairs, lights, and fire pit. We explored the near-by Red Feather Lakes, the views going up the mountain is worth the drive alone. We really enjoyed checking out the horses and even watched Bob feed a calf. We could not have been happier with our stay! If we lived any where close to Colorado, we would ask to take out a time-share for one of their rooms, ha.
Suggestion: Bring some ice and throw-away cooler if you need to chill down beer or perishable snacks. They do have a cooler on the bridge if needed.
