This apartment is on the 2nd floor, without elevator, of a seaside building dating from 1900 (listed building)
To get there, you will climb a very wide staircase with 40 not very high steps. The stairs and corridors of the building are old and not very attractive (renovation planned by 2026). This work concerns the common areas of the building, which are not under my responsibility
You will be just 2 minutes walk from the beach and the charming shops of Veules-les-Roses. This small village is renowned as one of the most beautiful on the Côte d'Albâtre, thanks to its completely redeveloped seafront, its seaside architecture, and the title of "most beautiful village in France" which it has obtained since 2017. .
Let yourself be charmed by the discovery of the smallest river in France, the old mills, the watercress, the picturesque streets typical of this Norman region, as well as the large beach of fine sand (at low tide) and pebbles. In addition, small local shops invite you to taste regional specialties, while fishing trips will offer you the opportunity to savor local fish, such as sea bass and turbot, as well as the famous Veules oysters. And you can discover all the villages of the Côte d’Albâtre: Saint Valéry en Caux, Fécamp, Etretat, Dieppe, Varengeville sur Mer
NOTE: electricity costs: these will be waived in June, July and August, and all weeks when the heating is not on.
INFO: Parking is public and free in Veules-les-Roses: the apartment does not have a private parking space.
As is often the case in small French coastal villages, attendance increases during the summer season, also attracting local residents looking for a pleasant day out. However, with a little patience, it is always possible to find a parking space
