Great Vacation

The home was perfect for our needs. I loved all of the seashore decor. We had everything we needed and the location was great, short walk to beach and boardwalk but away from the crowds.

Great rental close to the beach

We had our family of 5 (3 children under 8) and also 3 inlaws stay in this rental property for a week in August. The property was very clean, brand new TV in the living area, wonderful porch area to sit on to enjoy the mornings or the evenings, huge island for preparing food or just hanging out. The walk to the beach was short and there was access to the boardwalk as well (the quiet portion where there are no shops) The location was wonderful for a quiet and relaxing vacation at the beach but close enough to the main part of town, grocery store, public playground, liquor store, WaWa, donut shops, etc. We brought bikes and the landlord had 2 adult bikes provided as well. Bikes were a great adventure for the family and the kids - and they helped getting us to the busy part of the boardwalk or to the local playground. There is on site parking and a garage - although we had no problems finding parking right on central ave as well. A definite good find. Check in was easy. Everything went smoothly. Highly recommend this wonderful beach house property.

AWESOME SHORE HOUSE

This home is exactly as shown in the listing. Everything you might need for your vacation at the beach is here! It is a block and a half to the beach on the quieter end of Ocean City. The walk is easy and the entrance to the beach is easily accessible from the road. It is a mile and half walk on the boardwalk to Playland Castaway Cove, so when we wanted to ride rides we got our steps in. Though, there is plenty of parking around if you don't want to walk. This house stands out for its impeccable cleanliness, and all the extras included. There was hand soap ready for use and toilet paper for that first day after you step in from your long drive to the beach. The inclusion of chairs, a beach cart, and the bikes is awesome. They even had a little kiddy pool we used for my 2 year old daughter at the beach. Everything is in great shape. Lots of channels on the TV and plenty of seating for everyone. We had a group of 7 adults and 2 children and I never felt like we were on top of each other. Two small things to note: The mattress on the bottom of the bunk bed seems to be a futon mattress, so it is not the most comfortable and a double sheet set does not fit that great (I would recommend bringing a queen sheet set for that bed). And the bed in the first bedroom on the left (a queen) was a bit lumpy. Otherwise all other mattresses and provided pillows were very comfortable. The owners were available to answer questions and any concerns we had right away. We would definitely rent from them again! Thank you for an awesome stay!

The Stairs

The stairs to the unit were brutal!!! So narrow. So many twists and turns. So hard to carry everything up to the second floor. The layout and decor of the place made it worthwhile, though.

Great house in a perfect location

We had such a great week in Ocean City! George and Theresa's place couldn't have fit our needs any better. We had 6 adults and 1 kid and there was plenty of space for all of us. It was very clean and in good shape when we first arrived and had all the amenities we needed (except a grill but we managed without). There were clear and helpful instructions on the fridge so you knew what to expect and can easily contact the owners if necessary. The close proximity to the beach was the best part - it made lugging all our gear down manageable and it was easy to walk back for lunch. The start of the boardwalk is also just steps away which we took full advantage of to run, walk and bike daily. We loved the porch too - it was so nice to be able to sit outside in the morning for coffee and dinner at night. We would definitely recommend staying at George and Theresa's place!

We purchased this home in 2014. We rented Ocean City vacation properties for many years and have fond memories of spending time with friends and family. We're South Jersey residents so we're close enough to enjoy frequent day trips to just walk on the beach or stroll along the boardwalk or Asbury Avenue to shop and eat.

This home is situated in a beautiful neighborhood that's quiet and serene even during the busy vacation season. It's one block from the beach and boardwalk. Located at the south end of the boardwalk it's great for biking and walking from end to end and back. Ocean City has many great beaches but the beaches between 23rd and 24th are the best.

We first visited this property during an Open House. We were just out for a walk, but the location and curb appeal of the house drew us in. As soon as we walked in, it felt like home. The living area is spacious and comfortable...enjoy meals at the dining table with family. The porch is so inviting....coffee in the morning or drinks before dinner. And the location is ideal...walk the boards in the morning breeze...stroll the beach at sunset.
