This property is not what it says it is in the listing. IT IS SO MUCH BETTER! There is no way I’ll be able to address everything in this review, just know that this place is Heaven on Earth!
First, the host. Annie was INCREDIBLE! Not only did I receive communication soon after booking to welcome my family, but even the week before Annie reached out to me and provided me with EVERYTHING I needed to get there. She remained just as helpful and welcoming throughout the entire stay.
Second, the property. The pictures don’t do this place justice. The property is very secluded, but Annie provided excellent directions that had us pull right up to the front door. The cabin is a work of art, and the story behind it makes it such a treasure. There is literally nothing between you and the mountains except grassy fields (you can almost always see deer out grazing). The cabin is set in the most perfect angle so you can sit on the back porch and watch the sun set behind the mountains and there is nothing to obstruct the view. We couldn’t keep our kids out of the creek that runs right behind the cabin!
Third, the activities. Annie set us up to have the coolest horseback riding experience at their guest ranch. Along with exploring the land, Annie allowed us full access to the reservoir and kayaks there at the ranch. Literally walking distance from the cabin!
This was the most unforgettable vacation! I cannot thank this family enough for sharing their piece of paradise with us. ❤️
