Eureka är en underbar plats att bo medan du arbetar i området eller besöker. Labor Day Weekend är Acres of Blues-festivalen ~ kom lyssna & dans till bra musik! Din närhet till allt som Humboldt, Trinity och Del Norte har att erbjuda är en fördel för en hemmabas i Eureka. Och detta hus är ett härligt sätt att vara centralt beläget och nära butiker, men ändå lugnt och lantligt. Visste du att Eureka har en gammal tillväxt redwood skog mitt i staden? Du kan promenera till Sequoia Park & Flower Garden på mindre än en minuts promenad från din ytterdörr. Och Kaliforniens äldsta djurpark är där också! Dessa utter och röda pandor är bedårande! Har du någonsin provat "skogsbad"? Den praxis som påstås vara till nytta fysiskt också är mental hälsa eftersom det hjälper till att sänka hjärtfrekvensen, blodtrycket, minska produktionen av stresshormon, öka immuniteten och humöret och förbättra den allmänna känslan av välbefinnande. Vi har skogarna åt dig!

Mitt möblerade hus är tillgängligt för din grupp vänner, familj eller resande yrkesverksamma som letar efter en bekväm plats att sparka tillbaka, med alla bekvämligheter du behöver: ett fullt utrustat kök, spel och pussel, piano, tvättmaskin / torktumlare, rymlig däck och gräsmatta, vedspis, värmare, säkerhetssystem, wi-fi internet, cyklar, krocket, hästskor och gott om parkering. Och ... snälla inse att du aldrig kommer att behöva luftkonditionering i Eureka!

Detta 2200 kvm hem har tre sovrum, plus ett kontor med en extra futon. Sovrum är en nedre våning i full storlek, med en kung och två enkelsängar på övervåningen. Utrustning för barn finns på begäran. Badrummet nedervåningen är endast dusch och utrustad med säkerhetsskenor. Badrummet på övervåningen har ett klofotfot. Det finns steg för att komma in i huset både fram och bak. Snälla, ingen rökning eller skor i huset. Jag kan kommunicera på en grundläggande nivå i amerikanska teckenspråk (ASL).

För läkare eller företagshus: Jag listar huset som "helt" - men jag kan också erbjuda rum individuellt. Om du inte skulle tänka dig att "dela" huset, skicka en förfrågan för att meddela mig. Det enskilda priset skulle diskonteras om det finns en annan person som vill dela huset. Du skulle vara mindre än en mil från St. Joseph Hospital; ungefär en 6 block (8 minuters) promenad - utan kullar!

Great stay

Margo and Sunny did a wonderful job of preparing their house for our stay while on a work deployment. The house is in a great neighborhood, quiet, and comfortable. Sunny and Margo were excellent communicators and very responsive to our needs or requests. Would absolutely recommend them and this property.

Felt like home

We were traveling with three little ones. The location was fabulous as there was a playground and zoo/park around the corner. Margo has a huge collection of equipment and games for kids on hand. Our littles loved the trampoline! Margo is the most responsive host we've ever stayed with. We were very comfortable.

Graduation weekend

We loved our stay at Hollys house. She was available when we locked ourselves out, oops. She even picked flowers on the property & put in Vase on outside tables for our graduation party. She was very kind. We had everything we needed here. Her lovely home allowed us all to stay together, comfortably, including my little 14mo grand baby.

Great Stay

We stayed at the house for 3 nights. We loved the location walking distance to the zoo and in a nice quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The house was clean and very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Hello! Thank you for checking out this listing. I am offering this house to visitors to Humboldt County until my family is able to join me to live in the house ... many years down the road. I hope you will let me know what you are looking for so that I can see about making this your best stay ever! There is a guest house (suitable for a single or couple) on this property. If you would like to reserve both for your large group, please include that in your message.

But please read the House Rules ... recent visitors have been wildly destructive and have cost me much time, money, and sanity. There is a rental agreement for you to sign prior to entering the house. I'm sure your traveling companions won't be so disrespectful (and gross), but I have to cover my tushy. :o)

Worldwide, we are known for the glorious Kinetic Sculpture Race & the Kinetic Universe- every May, after the Tall Ships sail in. June brings the [baseball] Crabs back, the Oyster Festival and the Trinidad Fish Fry. July has spectacular fireworks over the Bay, Rodeo Week, & the Folklife Festival. In August this is the best haven to avoid the heat everywhere else, go to the County Fair, Woofstock, & see the Dog Agility Trials. September is lovely on all of the rivers and for Cruz'N Eureka. October is very busy with the Apple Harvest Festival, Pastels on the Plaza, & more. November begins Crab Season, the Intertribal Gathering, and the Mushroom Festival. December has many holiday celebrations including the Symphonies, the Tractor & Truckers' Christmas Convoy, and the Tuba Santas. January has the mildest weather of anywhere, the Eureka Crab Celebration, & the beginning of Steelhead Days for tasty fishing.
