Renters love not only the uniqueness and openness of my home but the PRIVACY. You can easily walk out to Main St, but the house is far behind another house that actually IS on the main road (hence the 170 "A" ). You're not out in the middle of nowhere but you kind of feel as if you ARE!
It's lovely to hear the church bells a few properties away, or walk down to River Road Landing to take in the incredible scenery. Bring a fishing pole, net crabs (nets at the house), watch the boaters, take a dip or simply walk off dinner! You can walk up to Nauset Farms for coffee, baked goodies, beach sandwiches and dinner items! If you prefer to dine out, also a walk to Whisk (breakfast and lunch), The Rail (breakfast lunch and dinner), and the Barley Neck (dinner/music) with Smitty's Ice Cream all too conveniently located in the middle for a little treat on the way home! : )
Though we have regular TVs also, renters here have loved watching "natures TV" hahaha - the bird and chipmunk activity from the adirondack chairs on the deck (difficult to leave...) or from the lounge chairs or 2 hammocks right nearby in the yard (a.k.a. "playing field" if you love yard games - i have several). We get Orioles, goldfinch, red winged black birds, chickadees, cardinals, blue jays, along with hawks and osprey frequently soaring high above, and sometimes bluebirds!! I feed the birds and offer them a birdbath, and they definitely show off in thanks :).
At the end of the day, the beds are so comfy and the bedrooms are well spaced from one another for privacy, once conversation moves inside to the living room. TV with cable and movies for all ages are there if you've had enough chit chat! Otherwise PLEASE feel free to borrow one of my books - I've curated a large bookcase with favorites of mine for babies up to the eldest in your party to enjoy. Ive always been a bookworm so I've had fun collecting a wide variety for all ages, including an almost complete set of Nancy Drew mysteries!
