What an amazing place! This house was the best part of our stay. We loved the island for so many reasons but this house was our private oasis and, really, our best memories are from the relaxing times we shared here.
Traveling with children is always work and we have 3 (ages 6, 10, 14). We were also traveling with my parents who are in their early 80's (not that you can tell- they are both incredibly mobile and in shape). This house had more than enough space for everyone. My husband and I took the master bedroom which is on the entry level and it had a fold out futon, which was very comfortable, for my 6 year old daughter. That bedroom is like a small apartment and has a great shower, closets, dressers, minibar with two fridges, and the bed: so comfortable. I need to find out where they bought that bed. It must be a California King size bed and the Linens felt luxurious. The room has great light and french doors which open to a more-than-spacious patio with nice furniture, and hammocks. Everyone loved the downstairs patio. It is also equipped with a washer and dryer.
Upstairs you can find a breezy, open concept living room/ dining room/ kitchen. Windows abound with natural light, and ceiling fans- just in case. We had perfect weather and breeze every day and so we rarely needed the fans. The kitchen has a full fridge and is equipped with everything you need in terms of pots and pans. We cooked every night.
