Centrally located
Wonderful group of people at the pool that are regulars here and gave all the information I needed for great places to eat. Found a few on our own that we enjoyed greatly. Walking to the beach and the hotel area was a nice late afternoon walk. The beaches are clean and the whole island is wonderful. Recommendations for others: La Fonda (almost across the street from this complex). A little further was Sultan’s a Lebanese place and further down is Pica’s with delicious food that won’t break the bank- very reasonably priced. Going the opposite direction on the Main Street away from the hotels was Linda’s pancakes which has huge crepes that are delicious. A little further is New Wei Ta’ai that has a $10 meal on Sunday that feeds two or buy two and have dinner another night. We challenged ourselves and walked to Superfoods which has better prices than some markets closer by and much larger selection of items. Now going back towards the hotel area there is a smaller market right before the Wendy’s where they have pretty decent prices too.
This place has very friendly people and the whole island is friendly as their motto states-one happy island. They truly take care of their own and is extremely safe. Can’t wait to return but would look for a main floor unit.
