Lyxigt torphus med fantastisk utsikt i fridfulla omgivningar

Efter en fullständig ombyggnad har Dualchas nu två sovrum med dubbelsäng (ett badrum) och ett tvåbäddsrum med familjebadrum (badkar och dusch med över badkar). Nedervåningen finns ett helt renoverat kök / matplats, ny vardagsrum med vedeldad spis, tv / dvd-spelare (DVD-skivor finns) och en veranda med sittplatser. Det finns en stor trädgård med gott om parkering, en utomhus picknickplats, extra sittplatser och plats för en grill.

Amazing!

Amazing in every way! Perfect location with incredible views. Home is spacious and comfortable. Communication with hosts was easy. Would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful, quiet place to stay

I stayed in this house for a week with my family. The house is very comfortable, well heated and the kitchen is fully equipped. The views from the living room are amazing. No noise except for sheep and birds. A truly charming, relaxing place. The house is also beautifully decorated with pictures and paintings. We found everything we need in the local store at Staffin, which is surprisingly well stocked if you like to cook from scratch. Unfortunately we found the dishwasher to be out of order when we arrived. But the rest of the amenities were as described. Thank you Sheonagh for making our stay unforgettable!

I left my heart in Digg

I love the wee White House on the hill and we will haste back. For us it was perfection. We know Skye so knew where it was situated (the loveliest area on the island in my view) but it is remote. I only say this to be helpful, don’t be put off unless you want proximity to town. Sheonagh is a darling and seeing all the photos linking the cottage to family life made it feel like we were staying with friends. I will never forget it

Excellent home perfectly situated for exploring all of Skye and particularly for the popular attractions around Staffin. Get up early and you have Storr and the Quirang to yourself. The property is well appointed clean and comfortable as if it was your own vacation house. We journeyed 17,000 miles to and back from our home and drove another 1200 miles around Skye Lewis /Harris and the Highlands. This house made us want to return. Mahalo Dan

Sheonagh Beaton är värd

This croft house and land have been in my husbands family for many years. His late great uncle kept his 'beasts' on this land and grew up in an original Skye black house - the site of which is now the drying area.
Dualchas was originally built 80 years ago and has been refurbished within the last 6 years to provide, what is now, a cosy bolt hole for us. We have decided to extend the cottage by one room and work will start in Sep/Oct 18. We are very excited as this will give us more room and a beautiful picture window to enjoy the fabulous view.
We hope that you will enjoy it too.

Dualchas has one of the best views in Digg, the air is clean and there is no light pollution - meaning that on a clear night the sky is quite stunning.

The cottage has undergone some renovation and this has been done to an exeptionally high standard.

It is an ideal base to explore the beautiful island of Skye

It has a special place in our hearts and I am sure that once you visit it will hold a special place in yours as well.
