My wife and I spent 2 nights here on our tour of Hawai'i. It was the most relaxing part of our vacation. The place has amazing sunsets and great views (although the lanai got a little slippery after a rain so be careful after a mai tai or 2). You could easily snorkel right out front, we saw sea turtles our first day there. Place was very clean and bed was very comfy. As is typical in many places in HI there is no AC, but plenty of fans. Sleeping at night was very comfortable, but get your butt to the beach or shops during the mid day sun if you don't want to get too warm (why are you in your room during they day anyway?). You can't beat the view, would easily pay double or more for comparable view at a hotel... plus there is a full kitchen, dining area, couch, and 2 flat screens. Pool was nothing special, but the area beaches are great. Bedroom has a frosted glass louvered window that faces the common outdoor hallway, so you can hear folks walking by here and there, but all in all good privacy. This is a 4th floor unit and there is really convenient parking near the stairs but take the elevator when you bring your bags up and down and use the stairs for daily outings (as a bonus, the view from the top of the stairwell was amazing, lookout for rainbows). Thought the mirrored wall was strange in the photos (personal preference) but in person it was actually a very nice feature of the place.
Host was great, thanks Sue, and even provided extra towels in case of a hurricane (there were two warnings during our stay). Luckily we didn't need them, but thoughtful. If we traveled this way again, we would look to see if this was available.
We have stayed at numerous HomeAway properties in the past. This property shines. It is just as advertised. The size was perfect for two of us on an anniversary trip. Grocery shopping and facilities were all close by. This unit was a great headquarters for days sailing, swimming with turtles, walking to Blackrock, driving to Hana or watching the sunset over Haleakala. We would definitely refer friends to this unit and that may be the biggest complement we can pay.
We had four adults and a toddler (who was greeted with beach toys I might add) and we thought this place was perfect. There are two pools and a hot tub that are well maintained and not too busy. Everything is in walking distance to Lahaina so if you don't plan on driving much this is a great option. We were able to find parking every night of our stay on the street so we never had to pay, which was nice.
Condo was clean and well-kept with comfortable beds and air-conditioning, it was awesome having small coolers, beach chairs and umbrellas to bring along for beach time. Only thing I would recommend is having some bigger beach towels since the ones available to us were more like bath towels and didn't do well in the sand. Overall great place, location, we would definitely stay here again.
We couldn't have been happier with our stay. We spent many afternoons and evenings on the balcony whale watching and experiencing beautiful sunsets. The owner was very responsive to inquiries and the property was clean and well-maintained. There was plenty of shopping nearby to keep the refrigerator stocked and great restaurants when we didn't feel like cooking. A great value, especially during the holidays. We highly recommend this property and it's ownership.
Beautiful condo! Loved the view. It's in the perfect location-right next to ocean. Even though there is no AC the fans worked great! Bed is very comfortable! No complaints here! Would rent again on our next trip to Maui! Thank you!
We stayed here for our 20th anniversary. The condo is clean, very comfortable and well appointed. The location gives you quick access to Kaanapali, Napili and Kapalua. Groceries are available just down the street. The view is incredible and there is great swimming out front. Will stay again.
