The Maui Vista condo is in a great location - walking distance to the beach and stores/food. Each building has a pool, BBQs, and tennis court. The grounds are clean, lots of parking, with well-maintained landscape.
This suite was a little outdated compared to some modern, newly-renovated suites I saw, but not as old as others. I personally enjoyed all the Hawaiian-themed decor (although my wife wasn't as enamored). The master bed was big and comfortable, but the pull-out couch was loud and creaky and not all that comfortable.
Some of the amenities included in the suite were lacking - not nearly enough soap, shampoo, dishwasher tabs or laundry detergent to last our stay (3 adults over 2 weeks). We ended up having to ration quite a bit and then buying our own, which was disappointing. The beach umbrella is broken and needs to be thrown out - we rented one from Boss Frogs for cheap. Snorkel gear, beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler were all fine. There was even a longboard that we wanted to use, but didn't find the time.
So all in all, they provided some useful stuff (snorkels, chairs, cooler) but the more essential items (soap, shampoo, detergent, beach umbrella) were quite disappointing, to be honest, and negatively impacted our experience.
The owner was friendly and communicative, and the suite was nice and clean. The Maui Vista property is in an ideal location.
