Couldn't have been better!

Everything was very clean and tidy when whe arrived at the apartment. We were so happy of the actual size of the apartment and how nice it actually was. Sometimes you see pictures of hotels and apartments that look amazing but when you arrive at the place it's kind of bad and not at all what you expected. For this apartment this was not the case, it was even better in real life than in the pictures.

We are so happy we stayed here!

Great London Apartment

Excellent London flat. The access to all the major tube lines and the Eurostar is a huge plus. And I cannot say enough about working with Ben and the management team. Very responsive and attentive. Even going above and beyond and assisting me when Ihad ordered tickets to a soccer match. Great stay.

Unique experience in historical building

Our family of five really enjoyed our stay at the St Pancras apartments. Well appointed flat with everything travelers need. Prime location that was a easy Tube or Uber ride away from the action. 24 hour doorman made us feel secure. The building and surrounding hotel and train station are stunning. Very good value choice. Highly recommend.

Nice but not spectacular

The good bits: the owner's rep was responsive and everything was in order for our arrival. The book provided regarding the apartment is very useful and addresses most questions. The building is one of our favorites in London and offers convenience for those taking advantage of Eurostar to Paris and other public transit. The access to the neighboring hotel and the various shops and amenities of the St. Pancras station is a distinct advantage over other properties. Porters at The Cambers (available 24 hours a day) were friendly and helpful when we needed them. The apartment itself is relatively large for London and the two bedrooms on the first level (4th floor) are spacious and the bathrooms are well appointed. The living/dining area is on the second level (5th floor) and the kitchen is exactly what you'd need for a holiday stay (including a very generous supply of coffee pods).

The less than stellar bits: the apartment needs some care and maintenance - carpet is loose and rolled up in a few places, two lights were out (with electrical cords hanging out) and the mattresses have some nasty stains. There is a mix of owners property in various closets (including clothing etc) - fine for a lower end apartment but not something you'd expect to see at a higher end place like this. The washing machine is small and the dryer function does not really do the job (best to use the Zipjet laundry service recommended in the book). The loft (aka third bedroom) is open to the kitchen and living area - ok if those intending to sleep there are last to go to bed but if not, you'll need to plan to have them sleep elsewhere or spend your evenings in one of the lower bedrooms.

While we enjoyed our time there, we will be staying elsewhere the next time we're in London. Perhaps our expectations were too high based on the location and rate.

Fastighetsägarens kommentar: Thank you for taking the time to respond. The apartment has since been upgraded with new beds and new super comfy mattresses (on which the owner spent a sizeable sum!). As for your other comments, it is important to remember that the owner uses this apartment himself and rents it out when he is out of the country. As such, there is one cupboard with his belongings (clearly labelled). All other cupboards are for exclusive guest use.

Excellent all the way around

This was such a great spot from which my family of 5 could explore the fabulous city of London! My kids (15, 13, 9) loved the Harry Potter connection too. It was so comfortable and so convenient.

Excellent apartment - fantastic iconic building

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this great apartment. 4 adults, 3 children on a visit to London to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Apartment in a great location for tube and main line stations, well equipped and very comfortable. Appreciated welcome pack on arrival. Would not hesitate to stay again - highly recommended
