We were there for 2 weeks with 3 families; 6 adults and 10 teenagers.
Communication with the owners went very smoothly & friendly.
We could all enjoy our privacy due to the 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms (plus 2 separate toilets; one on the mainfloor, one by the swimming pool).
The house, garden and terrace are well equiped with everything you could need. The extra and big fridge outside came in very handy.
The swimmingpool is not very large, but was a welcoming retreat during the very hot summer days. The teenagers also spent hours in the jacuzzi. The shaded area next to the pool is also very nice. Maybe a few more sunbeds would be preferable.
The gas-BBQ on the terrace works great and it is very convenient to have a sheltered outdoor area to be able to eat in the shade. For our group of 16 people, it was a bit crowded around the table though (and seeing that the house accomodates 22 people, it would have been a problem to eat together outside if we were that many).
There were a lot of flies and wasps, so bring flytraps, swatters,... everything you can think of to chase them away.
One major downside: there is no airco in the house, not even ventilators and it was very difficult to keep the heat outside (35 degrees by day, 25 by night) - the window shutters are on the inside (and not every window has them) which isn't ideal neither.
The garden is well kept (thanx to the sprinklers & robot mower), long & deep and situated in a rural environment, but because of the quite high fences, we found it was a pity we didn't get to see more of the landscape.
The village has only 2, 3 streets and is very quiet (except for the never ending but quite soothing sound of the cowbells - cows only sleep 1,5h a day/night we discovered ;-) ), so you need to drive at least 15 minutes to get to a bakery or grocery shop, or even further for a bigger convenience store.
We visited Andorra, Girona, Barcelona, Platja d'Aro, Moli de Danyans, Panta de Sau, Panta de la Baèlls, the castle of Montesquieu, Rupit, Ripoll and went canyoning & paddlesurfing. So no shortage of interesting things to do & see in Catalunya!
