Tyst och lugn lägenhet, totalrenoverad i augusti 2010, smakfullt inredda, synliga balkar, idealiskt beläget några steg från Markusplatsen (i hjärtat av Venedig) på 3: e våningen i en byggnad från 1700, inklusive ett vardagsrum ( med möjlighet till en bäddsoffa med dubbelsäng) med bekväm matplats och kök (amerikansk kök), ett dubbelrum med dubbelsäng, ett komplett badrum. Dubbel exponering: tyst rum 2 fönster på innergården, vardagsrum 2 fönster på gatan. 2 tv-sat, säker, wi-fi bredbandsanslutning; el, sängkläder. Stationsgondoler och kollektivtrafik till tågstationen, flygplatsen, Piazzale Roma (terminus av bilar), Murano och Lido några minuters promenad. underbart läge att besöka Venedig.

Great location with excellent service
What a wonderful way to end our trip. We loved staying local, felt very comfortable with directions from Paola, and had a fabulous Italian dinner at Vino Vino, which he recommended. Hope to return someday.

excellent accomodatinon and helpful service
Wonderful stay in excellent accommodations. Paola was very helpful with the Aliliguna Orange line directions from the airport to Santa Maria Del Giglio stop and helpful getting us and the bags to the apartment. The breakfast treats were unexpected and welcome and he was very helpful explaining the use of the apartment facilities. Useful to have a hair dryer available and electrical plug converter from US to Italian sockets. He also was helpful in having the handwritten maps to the supermarket by Campo Luca and the Osteria nearby. Overall a very plesant stay. Very close to Plaza San Marco and also the Aliliguna blue line to the Marine Terminal. Roberta was very kind and helpful as well.

One of the best!
My husband and I spent 3 nights in Venice in Paolo and Roberta's apartment and it was beyond our expectations. The information that Paolo provided prior to our arrival made the trip from the airport so easy! On arrival Paolo gave us even more helpful info that made our stay perfect. The apartment itself was a pleasure to be in as it was stocked not only with breakfast and snack items but also all the utensils needed to cook a meal. Coming home one afternoon to a plate of cookies on the table was memorable. Yes, there are 4 flights of stairs but well worth climbing. We stayed in 3 other locations in Italy and this was the best. Paolo and Roberta score a 10 out of 10!

Fabulous Accommodation in Fabulous Venice!
Roberta and Paolo's lovely apartment was a highlight of our two month trip to Europe. The location, two-minutes walk from St. Mark's Square, is perfect. From the living room window you can watch the buzz of activity in a busy and attractive (pedestrian) street, including glimpses of a canal -- yet when you close the very well sound-proofed windows and shutters, it is amazingly quiet to produce a sound sleep. Everything is modern, efficient, and meticulously maintained, and Roberta and Paolo are equally meticulous in ensuring that you understand how everything works, and where everything is -- a rare commitment of time from hosts in our experience. Our travelling companions stayed 3 nights; my husband and I, alas, could stay only one night so slept on the comfortable sofa bed in the living room, which Paolo set up for us prior to our arrival. We would love to return for a longer stay and can highly recommend this accommodation in beautiful romantic Venice. Thank you so much, Roberta and Paolo, for sharing your lovely apartment with us and for all your tips for how best to use our time in your spectacular city, of which you are so evidently and justifiably proud.

Great apartment & hospitality
We were in Venice for only 2 nights but the apartment's location, coupled with all the help we received from the owners allowed us to make the most of that time. Prior to our arrival Roberta and Paolo sent a detailed email outlining options to get from Venice airport to San Marco. They met us at the Alilaguna stop and assisted with getting the luggage to the apartment and then carried it up the stairs (one piece was quite heavy!). The apartment was stocked with yogurt, sweet rolls, bottled water, and coffee. We arrived late and inquired about places to eat. Roberta did not just tell us where to go, he escorted us to a restaurant and spoke with the staff to ensure we would receive good service. He returned the next morning and mapped out sights to see and a route to follow. The apartment itself was perfect! The main room was large and open and furniture was comfortable. There are 2 windows that overlook a small canal with gondolas so we were able to get the pulse of Venice immediately! The bedroom is in the back of the apartment and very quiet. The bathroom is up to date. The entire apartment is very clean and it is evident that Paolo and Roberta are very proud of the apartment and the city. We were able to leave our luggage at the apartment beyond our check out and retrieve it later in the day (very convenient). Roberta again insisted on carrying the luggage down the stairs and would not let us assist. Roberta and Paolo did everything to make our short visit a memorable one. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was a great find and there really was nothing more that we needed. Thanks Paolo and Roberta for sharing your lovely "family home"! We truly enjoyed it.
